The majority of our volunteers have evolved as a result of their having a loved one receive services through Holy Family Hospice. We invite you to become a part of our hospice family by participating in this meaningful experience of comforting individuals and families at this phase of life's journey.

Prior to becoming a hospice volunteer, you will be asked to complete the required paperwork, orientation, and health testing to be in compliance with hospice state regulated guidelines.

There are a number of ways in which you can contribute your time and talent as a hospice volunteer.

Patient Care

• One-on-one visits
• Reading and other activities
• Patient assistance
• Family support

Clerical

• Mailings
• Copying & assembling manuals, information packets, files
• Bereavement phone call follow up
• Other tasks as needed
